But it’s so important. The way that we organise our finances can have a massive impact on our quality of life.
MoneySecrets was created out of a wish to see more people set up their financial lives well. We want to see Kiwis in control of their finances. But no human has ever been born with knowledge about personal finance. We only learn these skills through exposure.
So we're creating conversations about personal finance in New Zealand. We do this by publishing real-life stories about the financial lives of our fellow Kiwis. Each writer uses a pseudonym so they can really let their guard down. Some of these stories are shining examples of excellent financial management, and some are the opposite. We can learn from both.
We hope you enjoy this insight into the financial lives of others. And over time, we hope that all Kiwis will have a sense of what "good" looks like when it comes to managing your financial life.
